Services for appointment management

This video provides a detailed overview of how Services are used within the Softvision Agenda appointment management system.

Services are probably the most important aspect of the application, since every time a new appointment is created, either by an operator or through the online booking portal, it is always necessary to specify which service is being provided to the customer for that appointment.

The video covers two service usage scenarios:

Services for hair salons

The first example illustrates the use of services for managing appointments in a hair salon. A resource called "Workstation" is created with a capacity of 3, allowing the hairdresser to manage up to 3 simultaneous appointments, along with two services, "Haircut" and "Styling", both also bookable through the online booking system.

Services for gyms

The second example examines the case of a gym that needs to manage bookings for a Spinning class. In this case, the service "Spinning Class" is created in "Class" mode with a capacity of 15 (the number of bikes available in the gym), and it is shown how to add multiple customers (up to 15) into a single booking consisting of the spinning class.
